Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead
On June 29th 2010 it was announced that Preger Entertainment had acquired the film rights to Richelle Mead’s Vampire Academy series. The movie is still a very big maybe but with Don Murphy (Transformers) on board as producer things are definitely looking good. Both Preger and Murphy seem very dedicated to the movie and acknowledge the great anticipation of the fanbase.Fan site:

Speaking of the House of Night, was I the only one who didn’t know that the House of Night was a real place in Tulsa? In fact, most of the settings in the book were real. I’m guessing that they’ll do most of the filming there or make a set that looks really similar to it.
