Showcase Sunday #18

As of last week I have decided to no longer participate in In My Mailbox. Instead I will be doing Showcase Sunday, a weekly meme that showcases new books you've received, borrowed or bought hosted by Vicki @ Books, Biscuits & Tea. Whatever book mailbox-ish meme you're doing (I've seen at least 5 others) feel free to to link to it in the comments.

Now, on to the super fantastic books I've gotten over this week! The last two weeks I did not get any new books, which was probably a good thing since I have AP exams coming up real soon. If you've noticed the less frequent posts during the week that's why I've been so out of the loop.

Book # 1
Divergent (Divergent #1) by Veronica Roth
I bought this for my little sister since she hadn't read it yet. I'm really curious to see what she thinks about it. Usually books with more than 300 pages freaks her out. It took a lot of convincing to get her to say yes to this book.

Book # 2
Insurgent (Divergent # 2) by Veronica Roth
I've been dying to read this! It was on display when I went looking for it in the YA section. I'm glad the bookstore had the new releases out instead of locked away in the back room.

Book #3
The Last Princess by Galaxy Craze
The cover for this looks pretty neat! I've heard very mixed reviews about this book so I'm curious to see what it's all about.

Book #4
First Comes Love by Katie Kacvinky
I became more excited about this book after seeing its summary. It's way too adorable to pass up on. Honestly, I wasn't planning on getting this book until I read it. I love the classic She's happy and bright, He's dark with a scarred past bad-boy type of books. That is, when they're done right. Contrasting personalities are always interesting to watch!

UPDATE: I read the first chapter and I already am in love with the book. The voice is so real! You need to check this one out.

Book #5
Tiger  Lily by Jodi Lynn  Anderson + Swag
This book + swag was given to me by awesome-super-fantabulous Asher @ Paranormal Indulgence! *hugs Asher* I was dying to read it since I heard that it was based on the story of Peter Pan. Peter Pan was one of my all time favorite movies but I never fully understood what it was about. Hopefully reading Tiger Lily with clear that up.

Thank you Asher!!!
