I like many others probably looked a lot like this guy^ after hearing that Jamie Campbell Bower would be casted as Jace from TMI. (Actually, I think I looked EXACTLY like this dude when I found out)
At first I was like....but but, his hair isn't blond! And his face doesn't look like how I imagined Jace's face.... dear lord. This is a hot mess!
But then Jamie Bow dyed his hair blond and got remade over to play our dear old Jacey and now he looks like this:
(*writing my pretend script based on what I think is happening in the scene)
Jace: "can you feel all this tension going on between us?"
Clary: "*breathless*.......Uh huh"
"I'm sexy and I KNOW IT. Do you believe me now? "
"Look at me do cool tricks on this police car......did you get my good side? Well duh! I'm soaked head to toe in sexy rain water."
Jace: "So I decided....I'm too hot for the both of us...I can't cramp my style by sticking around you"
Clary: "...this idiot *sniffles*"
Jace: "Let's kick some demon butt....shall we?"
Clary: "Let's DO THIS!"

I *really* like this dude as Jace! He has a certain charisma to him that I think will play out nice in the movie. Plus he's British, lol. Male British actors have not failed me in the past. I trust this guy to carry on that legacy. :)
Honestly, I'm a little disappointed in Lily's acting as Clary from this trailer. I felt very bored watching her. It was as if she were a background character and not a main character. Can't wait to see the movie and find out what they're actually saying in these pictures. I have a feeling I'm way off. ;)

ReplyDeleteMy first concern with the casting - and this is really superficial - but what the hell happened to Clary's flaming red hair?
ReplyDeleteLol, parts of her hair are sort of red. Maybe they were confused about the "flaming" part? Idk, Lily's acting is pretty dull from what I've seen in the trailer. I'm hoping the full movie will show her acting off a little better. :)
