COVER REVEAL: "Revelations" by J.A Souders
I really loved the first book in the Elysium Chronicles, RENEGADE, by J.A Souders. You can read my 4 star review of it here. The first book left my head spinning so I have definite plans to continue on with the next. Here is the super-uber beautiful cover of the second book "REVELATIONS":
I honestly love this cover a lot more than the first one. The colors are great, and they still incorporated the rose but in a very subtle way (she's holding it and there are a few petals on the ground). I like how she's not in this huge puffy dress anymore, symbolizing a change in her character and also how she is standing above water instead of underneath or in the water. Also, this cover just looks worlds better without that brown border around it! I think the border before was meant to represent the walls of Elysium and maybe in this novel the walls aren't very necessary anymore. I absolutely cannot wait to read Revelations. I'm sure we're in for something possibly even more exciting than the first book. Haha, now if only the wait wasn't so long...

COVER REVEAL: Transparent *UK edition*
I thought it would be fun to share the UK cover reveal of Transparent by Natalie Whipple. I'm not from the UK but I thought the cover for this looked pretty eye-caching and original so I had to share!
An invisible girl is a priceless weapon. Fiona’s own father has been forcing her to do his dirty work for years—everything from spying on people to stealing cars to breaking into bank vaults.
After sixteen years, Fiona’s had enough. She and her mother flee to a small town, and for the first time in her life, Fiona feels like a normal life is within reach. But Fiona’s father isn’t giving up that easily.
Of course, he should know better than anyone: never underestimate an invisible girl.
The US Cover:

COVER REVEAL: "School Spirits" by Rachel Hawkins
Today the cover was released for SCHOOL SPIRITS by Rachel Hawkins. It is a spin-off of the author's previous series, Hex Hall.
I had no idea that Hex Hall was going to have a spin-off at all so let's just say I'm very very excited about the news right now! Rachel Hawkins blends humor into her work so seamlessly. Every time I read something of hers I always have to hold back peels of laughter. The cover is gorgeous! Can't wait to find out who Izzy Brannick is.

I keep thinking that this book should be released in the Fall instead of the Summer because if you look closely the girl is wearing fall leaves as a dress and she's being blown away by the chilly Fall winds.

COVER REVEAL: A Darkness Strange and Lovely!
I present to you the uber-amazing beautiful cover of A Darkness Strange and Lovely by Susan Dennard
What I love most about Susan's covers are that they have originally hand made dresses. And, as a person who will be dress hunting for prom in a couple of months or so, I can't help but admire the handiwork on this dress. IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL! I honestly can't stop looking at it. The background, the dress, the font, the placement of the words. It's a huge 10/10 for me. Kudos to the amazing design team at Harper Collins for another truly amazing cover! I can't wait to have this one on my bookshelf right next to Something Strange and Deadly.

Following an all-out battle with the walking Dead, the Spirit Hunters have fled Philadelphia, leaving Eleanor alone to cope with the devastating aftermath. But there’s more trouble ahead—the evil necromancer Marcus has returned, and his diabolical advances have Eleanor escaping to Paris to seek the help of Joseph, Jie, and the infuriatingly handsome Daniel once again. When she arrives, however, she finds a whole new darkness lurking in this City of Light. As harrowing events unfold, Eleanor is forced to make a deadly decision that will mean life or death for everyone.

COVER REVEAL: "Sweet Peril" by Wendy Higgins!
First off, before I go on about the cover I wanted to fan-girl over the title of the book: "SWEET PERIL" I mean, how cool is that? It has a certain ring to it and now I can't stop repeating it over and over again in my head. It's contagious. Below is the completely beautiful, jaw-droppingly, amazing cover of Sweet Peril:
They finally got the models to look a little more like the actual characters this time. They are the same models but this time Ana is short-er (I think?) like she is supposed to be. And Anna is looking positively fierce beside Kaidan. I mean, just look at the way her eyes scream "I'm not going down without a fight so you better watch out you demons!" Lol, but seriously, I can not get enough of this cover. Sweet Perils needs to be released as soon as possible so the sweet agony of waiting can be over.

New people arouse suspicion, the DeRises start behaving strangely, and Megan begins to unravel a destiny shrouded in mystery. It’s a destiny the Order has struggled to hide, and a destiny someone from the past… far in the past, has already laid claim to.

I really love this cover! The design of the girl's dress is beautiful and the plumes of purple smoke at the end make it stand out. I love how she's facing upwards as if there is something she is desperately reaching for.
Kudos to the design team at Harper for this awesome cover!

Cover Reveal! WHAT'S LEFT OF ME by Kat Zhang
Eva and Addie started out the same way as everyone else—two souls woven together in one body, taking turns controlling their movements as they learned how to walk, how to sing, how to dance. But as they grew, so did the worried whispers. Why aren’t they settling? Why isn’t one of them fading? The doctors ran tests, the neighbors shied away, and their parents begged for more time. Finally Addie was pronounced healthy and Eva was declared gone. Except, she wasn’t…
For the past three years, Eva has clung to the remnants of her life. Only Addie knows she’s still there, trapped inside their body. Then one day, they discover there may be a way for Eva to move again. The risks are unimaginable–hybrids are considered a threat to society, so if they are caught, Addie and Eva will be locked away with the others. And yet…for a chance to smile, to twirl, to speak, Eva will do anything.
See Kat's thoughts on her amazing cover here.
Okay, so I'm really in love with this cover for many reasons. 1) Because I love light colors 2) Because of the way you can see two faces, and one of them is faded 3) Because it's different from the usual HarperTeen covers.

ABOUT KAT:
Kat Zhang loves traveling to places both real and fictional–the former allows for better souvenirs, but the latter allows for dragons, so it’s a tough pick. WHAT’S LEFT OF ME–about a girl with two souls–will be released by HarperCollins 9/18/2012. You can learn all about Kat at her site, or listen to her ramblings on twitter.

COVER REVEAL! Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa
Julie Kagawa has became one of my all time favorite YA authors after I read her Iron Fey Series. Her writing is addictive. Like chocolate, only slightly better. I could honestly open up a book of hers and trust her to give me an engaging read that I'll never forget, and never want to stop reading. All of her books have been one-sitters for me. I'm a little worried about how her new book series Blood of Eden will be like compared to the Iron Fey but I trust Julie to once again blow me away with her addictive and page-turning writing.
